Grounding or Earthing

What you need to know.

 
 

Since the beginning of time mammals have grounded their bodies to the earth.

 We are energy beings. Frequencies or electrical impulses keep our bodies alive. Think of us or your pets as little machines created by a master, keeping our organs functioning, blood flowing, breathing on time and even reproduces little "you's". All done with self or heavenly electrons balancing, harmonizing and functioning perfectly.  Part of who we are as mammals is our relationship with the whole.

The Whole - what is that exactly? The universe as far as we know is the whole. The earth is the part we call home in the universe. We are live on earth and to keep us connected to our home we must touch it. Our electrons need to flow back and forth with earth to make a complete us.

 

Earth is negatively charged. When we ground, we take in negative electrons [antioxidant electrons] to neutralize the positively charged electrons [ our free radical electrons]. Neutralizing the free radical assists the immune system to prevent a break-down or illness [inflammation].

Sounds so simple but this process is anything but simple. A complex series of functions takes place when we are connected in anyway to earth. Walking barefoot, laying on the grass, walking or laying on the beach, sitting with our feet on earth, using a grounding pad or sleeping on a ground pad or sheet, using grounding shoes or using some type of device that is grounded; however we ground we need to ground.

What happens when we don't ground? The free radical or positively charged electrons build up. It is much like a traffic jam of electrons all waiting to be neutralized but cannot leave the body. They build up across our cells and begin to form inflammation, the start of an illness or disease is waiting. After time a of disconnection with earth we development any number of inflammatory diseases. Our bodies has no where as hard as it tries to eliminate the positively charged electrons causing our inflammation. No wonder we are beings that are perpetually sick.

Before the 1950's we lived connected to earth. We played on the ground, we walked in leather shoes if we weren't barefoot, we swam in lakes, streams and rivers and had no electrical devices that intervered with our own pulses. Then in the 1950's rubber soled shoes became the shoes everyone wanted to wear, along with the introduction of rubber soled shoes came synthetic, materials for building, fabrics and innovative products. All kept us insulated from earth. We worked and played increasingly less connected to earth.

 
And the result? We got sicker. The sicker we got the more chemically created treatments occurred on our pharmacy shelves. Natural forms of treating us were pushed over and often out [banned]. The age of the chemical industry brought in the medical industrial complex. Money flowed, pills were dispensed like candy and the people still got sicker.

Did anyone notice? Or was there something sinister occurring that we just didn't recognize? It is your choice to decide.
What we do know now when we were grounded we were healthier. We didn't need science to tell us to keep our feet on the ground, it came naturally. So now in order to return to grounding we need science to tell us to ground.

What does science tell us about grounding? We will always have the skeptics or those that will never believe anything natural is beneficial but those skeptics might not be happy until we are all robots and Godless. For everyone else, science does prove ground does benefit our body's ability to function well and aid its healing processes.

From arthritis, Alzheimer’s, chronic fatigue, heart disease, sleeping disorders, diabetes, cancer, etc. to acute inflammation from injuries or wounds from injuries or surgeries, grounding help us heal. Grounding can reduce inflammation lowering the pain levels. Joint, back pain the most common complaints decrease when grounded. When you are grounded your blood flows easily, studies show the blood cells are no longer clumping but freely circulates which will help balance blood pressure. Stress is greatly eliminated as grounding restores the harmonizing pulsations, moving us from a sympathetic [stress] tone to a parasympathetic [calming] tone. This is important for the health of the nervous system, especially those fighting anxiety or sleep disorders caused by stress.

Cardiologists, like Dr. Stephen Sinatra from the Heart Health Institute [  website ] have done research and studies regarding grounding and cardiovascular health. His studies regarding blood health is detailed in his publication.

Taking a look at the blood, what effects occur in the blood when grounded. When scientists studied the electrical property of blood, they looked at the zeta potential of red blood cells [RBC} and RBC aggregation [clumping]. The zeta potential relates the negative charges on the surface of the RBC. Basically, it relates to how the cells slip by each other so blood flow is smooth and not hindered by clumping together which could cause clotting. After testing controlled subjects, they found grounding substantially increased the zeta potential and decreased the RBC aggregation. [watch video] This reduced the blood viscosity. Those subjects in pain noted they had a reduction in pain to where it was nearly unnoticeable. For patients with blood viscosity issues grounding was a natural solution. Cardiologists and other physicians concern for patients with blood viscosity problems, clotting and inflammation now have a viable safe solution. Diabetic patients commonly suffer from poor RBC zeta potential and suffer from cardiovascular disease, grounding would greatly improve their health as the studies have found.

So what do we do?

Whether we are visibly or clinically sick or wanting to regain our ground to earth, preventing and assisting better health we need to tart connecting with earth more. There are grounding sheets and pads that will give you the whole night to ground. Our bodies take our sleep time to heal and repair. What better time to ground. At work a grounding pad under our feet will ground us during our office hours. You will feel more refreshed and will discover you have better concentration. Don't have an office job? There are grounding shoes in a variety of styles to choose from. Take an opportunity to take your shoes off during a break or lunch time for 15 minutes of grounding, then return to work grounded and ready to take on the world. An easy way to ground if you can't get a good patch of grass is to simple put your feet against a tree trunk, its roots reach deep down and will deliver you lots of negative electrons. Dboy groundingon't forget your children. School kids should be instructed to get outside for at least 15 minutes during lunch break or study breaks. Give your children a report on grounding or a copy of this page to hand to the school office it they are told they cannot ground. Maybe the school will get the idea and give access to a safe grounding area for breaks or set up grounding stations in the school for students to ground and re-center their brains during the day. Babies need to be grounded from the time they are born. Before birth mothers need time for grounding to help the baby develop to the fullest potential and the RBC zeta potential will aid in a better delivery and healing. Take your baby out for walks and carry them while walking barefoot or with grounding shoes, at night a family bed for breastfeeding ease and time on the grounding bed or ground the baby's bed along with the rest of the children. A health focused family grounds.
